The Staff Pad is looking for a Clinical Lab Scientist to join our client's team in Helena, Montana. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist independently performs routine and special diagnostic procedures on blood and other body fluids from patients to all patients.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
One year experience as a generalist clinical laboratory scientist in a hospital setting.

EDUCATION:
Baccalaureate in Medical Technology or equivalent. Certified by a national certifying agency such as ASCP, NCA or equivalent.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY:
Licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in Montana.

  1. Must demonstrate problem-solving ability and ability to perform complex calculations. Must be able to manage stressful situations with tact and simultaneously deliver good patient care. Must be capable of multitasking and prioritization. Must demonstrate exceptional organizational ability. Must demonstrate advanced problem-solving skills. Must demonstrate flexibility. Must demonstrate professionalism. Must be able to work under extremely busy conditions. Must be able to provide on call coverage. Must be able to communicate verbally, in writing and electronically. Must demonstrate attention to detail. Must exhibit courtesy and tact.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
